ABC 123

Education is key to a solid foundation for life. Serving Hands International proudly supports private institutions in order to provide education to those who would be denied otherwise. Educational supplies, scholarships, and other learning necessities are just some of the ways Serving Hands International impacted the lives of 900 students in 2011 in partnership with approved organizations such as Colegio Santa Rosa de Lima, Parroquia San Benito Abad – Missioneras de Santa Ana, and Archdiocese of Weniruda, Uganda.

Emergency Care

There are few clinics and even fewer hospitals located near the poorest communities of Tijuana. Serving Hands International's grant at Sanatorio San Francisco provided the funds needed to provide care to Ms. Garcia. It continues to be a privilege of Serving Hands International to partner with 4 organizations south of the border: Casa Hogar del Anciano Juan Pablo II, Casa Dispensario San Eugenio – Vecinos de la Frontera, Hospital Sagrada Corazon, and Sanatorio San Francisco. These organizations have chosen to serve the immigrant demographic and set up shop among the people with the greatest need. During 2011, Serving Hands International’s support provided the care of more than 13,000 people in need.

Bare Necessities

In the poorest regions of Tijuana, Mexico, bare necessities such as rice, beans, flour, sugar, oil, fresh fruit and vegetables are out of reach without a helping hand. Thanks to 31 partner organizations on location, Serving Hands International was able to provide these necessities to over 30,000 people in need during 2011. We continue to provide this assistance with our most recent outreach on Thursday, January 26, 2012.
