Christmas Warmth

By | Blog

Each year during the month of December the sisters at Adoratrices Perpetuas delSantisimo Sacramento in Rosarito, Mexico participate in Serving Hands International’s Christmas Tradition. This Serving Hands International annual program is provided to pre-selected international partners who maximize our support to positively impact the community they serve. The program includes providing basic food items and warm blankets. However December 2012 was an exception. Thanks to a generous SHI donor who has chosen to stay anonymous, 10 large bags of hand knitted afghans were included in the Christmas Tradition. The Adoratrices Sisters were one of the fortunate Serving Hands International Partners who received this extra donation. Upon delivery of the donations, the Sisters immediately knew who in their community would most appreciate the beautiful afghans. Shortly after the distribution we received a letter of thanks with photos of the grateful recipients. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the selflessness of our partners and the support from A-1 Self Storage these individuals experienced a special Christmas!
